Aims
- To provide facilities where those interested in historic transport can as Spectators or active participants meet regularly with other of similar interests.
- To further interest in the preservation of historic vehicles or plant.
- To generate funds to support these aims.
Activities
The club's activities include monthly meetings held at the
"Red Lion", Stone Cross, Eastbourne, East Sussex
on the fourth Thursday of each month at 8.00 pm,
where slides, films and talks etc. are given by guest speakers or members.
During summer months visits are arranged to places of interest and a number
of social outings arranged with members and their "old" vehicles.
Principal Events
- Two "TOY, TRANSPORT & COLLECTORS FAIRS" (April & December)
- A three day "FESTIVAL OF TRANSPORT" rally, held in the Sussex village of Hellingly (August Bank Holiday).
